Well, after having just gotten released from nursery, I have to say I don't think I'm ready to let Sophia go. Yes, it would be great not having to chase her through the halls during classes but those kids are BIG and they bite, hit and throw toys. How can I possibly submit her to that? I think I'll hold off a few extra months!
This has been a great summer. Sophia and I love having the boys home. We will be home schooling starting at the end of July, so I've been busy getting ready and buying books and curriculum. We joined a local LDS home school group & attended our first summer activity. It was at the IMAX theater watching The Grand Canyon film in 3D. We were all reaching out for the giant water drops and I was on the verge of screaming during the river rafting scenes...loved it! I am so anxious to have more family time and free time for piano, scouts, martial arts and swim. It's fun to see them so excited about learning. Kade is "all business" when it comes to swim lessons. While all the other kids are messing around, he's standing on the side in the diving position, ready to go. Jaxon has been making a lot of progress this summer with his swimming. He likes it so much, he's decided to do it year round so he can try out for dive team next year. Jaxon is also doing a lot of free reading, his biggest dilemma is deciding what book to read first. I have to admit I never had that problem as a kid! The boys are also having a ton of fun with their friends. Well it's late so I'd better sign off.
