Nightstand from Goodwill BEFORE
AFTER
I am so happy with the way it turned out. I just sanded lightly, painted 2 coats and then used a black glaze on it. I also shined it up with polyurethane. I found one like it at Kirkland's for $200 but didn't want to spend the money...glad I didn't.
Next I mistreated Sophia's bedroom curtains and lamp.

These aren't the best pics. It's actually a large window with two panels. The curtains started out with the tab top panels from Target, I just cut off the bottom and added the cute polka dot fabric and some green pom pom trim. Then I made a valance with some check fabric and just hung it with upholstery nails. So simple!
Home Office Window
It's my least favorite but I think I'll like it better when I paint the walls green. It also looks better in person because of the framed pictures we have on the walls that compliment it.
