Holiday Fun

Sugar Cone Christmas Trees

Here's another fun and quick activity for the kids. Take a sugar cone and frost the outside of it and then decorate with Christmas candy. It would look better with green frosting but I was in a hurry so I used only what I had on hand.

Unfortunately every one's been snacking on the gum drops so we ran short. Oh well, who sees the back anyway. Which reminds me of a funny story about my niece Samantha. She was about 14 years old and she had this beautiful head of long hair. Every time she straightened it she'd leave the back all wavy. When asked why she said "it's not like anyone sees it." She's too funny, she still probably doesn't bother with the back because she is just that kind of person, totally easy going. Thank goodness there's all types in this world, some one's got to mellow us spastic people out.

BTW - this morning I just colored my own hair (that's right, had to get rid of the gray and knew I could do it myself since I was just going all dark) or at least I thought I could do it myself. The problem is there's a small stripe in the back...I resemble a skunk if you look close but since it's in the back no one will see it right?

Now to give credit where credit is due, I got this idea from my friend Tricia's blog.
