Last night I went out with one of my BFF'S from highschool. We hadn't had contact in over 11 years!! Thanks to facebook we not only found each other, we also discovered we both live in Arizona. For the last 2 years we could have been hanging out, chatting it up, sharing our deepest thoughts, filling the void that only an old friend who knows your past...your story can. It was as if no time had passed and yet after talking for 3 1/2 hours we barely scratched the surface. I was so giddy about seeing her that you'd have thought I had a hot date or something, I missed my exit 3 times! Unfortunately we live 1 1/2 hours apart but we aren't going to let that stop us. We promised to see each other at least once a month. Thanks for the fun night Chantell, oh how I've missed you!
It's true there's NOTHING like an old friend who knows your story and "gets you". I'm glad you had so much fun!
