Why I heart facebook...

#1 reason I love facebook is because two years ago I reconnected with my old high school bff from Utah, Chantell. Not only did we reconnect after no contact in 12 years....we realized we both live in Arizona!!! I can't even tell you what a blessing it has been for me. Yes, I've made new friends since we moved here back in 2000, but there's just something about Chantell that causes us to laugh 'till it hurts, act like we're 16 again and reminisce the good ol' days every single time. We're quite the pair!!
We both have three kids, all within a year of each other. They get a long great and love spending time together,  as do our husband's Kimball and Mike...how lucky is that!?!?
Her girls Gabby & Hailey are just as fab as she is, and I secretly hope Hailey and Jaxon will marry one day.
A rare moment when I coaxed my tween Jaxon into a quick picture with his mom. Don't you love the pj's idea....that was all his! The kids were so excited for Chantell and Mike's New Year's Eve party.
Kimball lightin' up the neighborhood like a true rock star! He bought these out of state a few months ago and has been dying to use them....they were worth the wait!!
Freezing our buns off in this incredibly, abnormal AZ weather...there was even snow on the mountains that morning...a first for me in the ten years I've lived here!! It was quite the rush really, when Kade saw it he sounded like the double rainbow guy, "too much, what does it mean?". :) SO FUNNY!
Notice how they had to crane their necks to see the fireworks....that's all I'm sayin'. ;)
Gabby is 2 1/2 years old, she's short so she looks younger but she talks like a 5 year old. It had been a few months since we saw her and she had grown up a ton. She's no longer a baby, now she's a big girl and her and Soph had a blast!! Did I mention she's the best snuggle bug and will go to anyone? I've really never met a more mellow, easy going and fun toddler in my life. LOVE me some Gabby!
Chantell's husband Mike, their neighbor Bill and the boys acting like "boys", which seems to happen to males at any age when there's toys (fireworks) in their reach! Thanks again friends for a fun party. Here's to twenty-eleven...which btw, reminds me of how much I'll miss saying twenty-ten it just....feeeeels nice.
