I've been Tagged

I've been tagged by my blogging friend Edie over at lifeongrace
Seven weird or random things about me. Thanks Edie but I have to admit I get embarrassed doing these, I'm sure people are sick of hearing about me so I have a feeling this will self destruct in a few days. :)

1. When I was 20 I went out with a 45 year old...4 times! Yuck I know!!

2. I once ran over a cat with my bike! It was OK but I ended up crashing from laughing so hard. Speaking of cats I'm allergic to them and I don't like them...but it was an accident I promise.

3. Most people think I'm really outgoing but I'm actually shy.

4. When I was about 10 years old, I ordered some food at the mall and didn't like it so I lied and said there was a hair in my food so I could choose something else.

5. When I was young I had an unhealthy crush on Kenny Loggins! I would have stalked him had I known where to find him. I know, again with the older men?

6. My current but growing wish list is...
- European vacation
- Family vacation to Disneyland
- Sewing machine
- New running shoes
- Fall wardrobe
- Nice camera & digital photo software
- Build a second home on our property in Utah
- Time alone to do nothing but read classics and study whatever I want
- Most of all, I wish to make the "we're debt free" phone call to Dave Ramsey (so disregard the above list)!
7. I was awarded Soap Opera Queen on my cheerleading squad...go figure!

  1. Jessica,
Funny post and love your use of fonts and colors! Thanks for the ideas for math. I'm afraid I'm gonna do damage if I don't try something else. Maybe the video lectures would work for us. At least I'd feel less guilty about folding laundry!

  4. NO WAY!! 45...oh, double yuck. He must have been awfully good looking or taking you out on really fun dates.
You better let me know when you can make that call. We are debt free (except for the house, and only 8 more years on that....yea). But come back in a few months because we're on a God watch...hubby's losing his job in Feb since his company got bought out and moved to TX...they offered him a job but it's kind of hard to sell out from your family homestead...hee hee.
I will be blogging about it, but haven't yet. Let's just say, I have never been more excited that I have done beans and rice, rice and beans, so that we actually do have an emergency fund for this exact reason!!

  9. Hey Jessica!
We have property in Lehi too, my husbands grandparents were from there, unfortunately our property is on some rocky mountainside that will probably never be developed. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I will do the lesson on Oct. 12...have fun on vacation!!!

  10. AHH the days of waking up to Kenny Logins and your big hair. The days of drill team. I think that was the same time that you threw all my precious little kid crafts away because they were umm what was is "junk"? I can remember you calling me a pack rat several times after the junk thing. I really liked the winnie the pooh song. I also remember a lot of scrunchies.
