Say Cheese

I have been wanting to get the kids pictures taken by a professional for a long time...let's just say Sophia has never been to a real photographer. This morning I got the kids out of bed and made them get dressed and go outside. I decided to save money by just taking them myself (again), but I'm pretty happy with the outcome. They'll have to do for now. Here are a few others that I haven't already put on my blog. Someday I hope to get a nicer camera because I love taking pictures.
This was one of the last shots, we had to include bunny so Sophia would stay put.

Here Sophia wasn't so sure about sitting on a rock, but I think it's still cute.

With help from big brother Kade we were able to get several smiles out of her. The only other challenge was the wind blowing her hair in her face.

I like the natural look of this one.

Yeah it's still in the 100's here everyday but you wouldn't know it by their fall clothing. One of the things I miss about Utah is the beautiful fall weather. At least now I can look at my blog if I want a change of season

  2. cute pics! Weren't they hot? BTW...I'm not much of a commenter. I read blogs off of Google Reader and I can't leave comments unless I go to the site (which is rare). So, sorry I don't comment. I read every post but with no comment. Sorry!

  4. Kate, I'm not sure how google reader works but I need to get it. We took the pics early, apparently Jaxon had his pj's on underneath so he got a little warm but it was only like 7:30 so it was pretty nice.

  11. I almost didn't know you....I guess you aren't quite a newbie anymore, are you. Glad the bulk cooking thing/coupon tips are helping. If you don't have anyone to share coupons with you, you can pick it up at the grocery store. This week on the way to church, I got ours, and they had so many good coupons that I would use today (triple...wow) that I bought another 2.
Hope the start to your home school year is going well.

  13. Wow look at you 12 comments. Well 13 now. I thought these were so cute. I love the more natural shots. The posey (don't think that's actually a word) ones just aren't ever as cute. Sophia is a little girl now! It's amazing that your kids look so pale and are wearing sweat shirts considering you live in Arizona were it was probably in the 80's that day. haha

  14. Actually it was in the 100's :). Today is the first day of fall and it's about 102! They are homeschooling hermits, that's why they're so pale...just kidding!
