Jaxon did it, he learned to ride a bike! I know...he's turning 10 this month but he has refused to learn despite all our efforts over the years. He is SO happy about it, he couldn't wait to journal about it on his blog. He was beaming with joy all night. He keeps saying what a lazy bum he's been and how he really regrets waiting. It was a scary thing for him but he over came whatever fear he was holding onto and just did it. He rode around the block over and over and was thoroughly enjoying it. This is his second bike and he's too big for it, good thing Kade's not. Kade was so proud of him and kept saying "Jaxon, I'm so glad you finally learned to ride your bike". After a while Jaxon asked that he drop the "finally" part. Jaxon welcomes any comments:)
Sophia decided to join in the fun. WEE!!
Congrats Jaxon, my dad tried for hours to teach me how to ride a bike and I was just not getting it. It took 8,9, and 10 year olds to teach me, after that I loved it and hope that you have a blast. Ride on and have fun.
ReplyDeleteWay to go Jaxon! It's really great that you were able to overcome your fear and just do it! It's amazing where a little faith and a little courage will take you.
ReplyDeleteWoohoo! That is so exciting. Way to go!
ReplyDeleteGood job Jaxon. You will be so free now! The craziest part of this for me is that he is almost 10 time flies.
ReplyDeleteI am having a feeling that Sophie is going to be your tallest. Hehe.... Maybe you should consider taking a few minutes in your school day to discuss how to avoid those brit and paris shots. HAHA ... totally just kidding it's a cute picture she is concentrating so hard. I can't wait to see you all! Love the count down.
ReplyDeleteCongrats Jaxon! That is an amazing accomplishment...We are so excited for you and all the fun times you will have now that you have learned!
